Paracheilinus carpenteri is a Wrasse from the Western Pacific. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade, under the name "Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse."[1] It grows to a size of 8 cm in length. The species is named in honor of Dr. Kent E. Carpenter of Old Dominion University[2] who was the principal collector of the type specimens.[3]
